Hammarby Women and St Polten Women will go head-to-head in Wednesday's Women's Champions League clash at the Tele2 Arena.
The hosts are competing in the first-ever European campaign, while the visitors are featuring in the group stage for a third consecutive season.
Match preview
Hammarby are featuring in their first Women's Champions League campaign after winning the 2023 Damallsvenskan title.
As a result of their title success, Hammarby entered the Women's Champions League in the second qualifying round for a tricky tie against Portuguese champions Benfica.
The Swedish side looked to be heading towards an early exit after they lost 2-1 in their home leg, but they ultimately showed great character to turn the tie in their favour with a 2-0 victory in the return fixture, making them the first team to overturn a first-leg defeat in Women's Champions League qualifying.
Since beating Benfica, Hammarby have gone on to record a 2-0 win over Orebro and play out a goalless draw on Friday's away meeting with Linkopping.
Having recorded three consecutive clean sheets, Martin Sjogren's side will look to produce another strong defensive display in their first-ever match in the group stage.
Meanwhile, St Polten are back competing in the Women's Champions League after winning their ninth OFB Frauen Bundesliga title last season.
The Austrian champions kicked off their European campaign with victories over Neftci Baki and Vllaznia in the first stage of qualifying.
They then recorded an 8-0 aggregate win in their second qualifying round tie against ZNK Mura, ensuring that they will feature among the final 16 teams for the fourth time in five seasons.
St Polten went on to thrash LASK 6-1 to extend their winning start to the season to 10 matches, before their run of victories was brought to an end by Saturday's goalless draw Bergheim.
While they would have been frustrated to drop points at the weekend, St Polten can still be pleased with the fact that they are unbeaten in 23 matches in all competitions.

We say: Hammarby Women 2-1 St Polten Women
Hammarby showcased their quality to get the better of Portuguese champions Benfica in the second qualifying round, and we think that the confidence gained from that success will help them claim maximum points against a St Polten side that have lost each of their last three away games in the Women's Champions League main draw.
