Hannover have defeated Levante 2-1 at home in the Europa League, despite playing most of the game with just 10 men.
The hosts went down a man short after nine minutes when Karim Haggui was dismissed for committing a foul on Theofanis Gekas inside his own penalty area.
Levante took advantage of the spot kick, as Michel made no mistake from 12 yards.
However, Hannover were awarded a penalty of their own in the 21st minute.
Vicente de la Fuente Iborra was adjudged to have handled the ball inside the Levante 18-yard box, and Sszabolcs Huszti slotted home the penalty with ease.
Four minutes into the second half, the German club made it 2-1 when Didier Ya Konan shot home from close range.
Both sides came close to adding to the scoreline during the remainder of the second half, but failed, as this Group L encounter ended in a 2-1 win for Hannover.
