Ten-man Partick Thistle have held on for a 2-0 win over Hearts in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon.
The hosts made the stronger start of the two sides, but Scott Fox was able to stop Ryan Stevenson from giving Hearts an early lead.
The visitors soon found their way into the match and started to dominate, with Steven Lawless and Aaron Sinclair both testing the home keeper.
Partick managed to break the deadlock when Kallum Higginbotham played the ball in for Lyle Taylor, who kept his shot low to squeeze his finish under Jamie McDonald.
The away side managed to double their lead just before the break with Higginbotham setting it up again, this time curling in a corner for Sinclair to head in.
Stevenson continued to provide Hearts' main goal threat early in the second half, while Callum Tapping fired the ball well high.
However, the home side were given a lifeline late on when Stuart Banningham picked up two yellow cards in the space of four minutes, leaving Partick a man short for the final eight minutes.
Hearts immediately took a more attacking approach, with Kevin McHattie coming forward to test Fox, but the Partick keeper kept his effort out.
Brad McKay and Dale Carrick both tried late headers as they desperately endeavoured to get their side back into contention, but they could not keep their efforts on target.
