Heracles have registered an emphatic 3-0 victory over NEC in Sunday's Eredivisie clash at the Polman Stadion Almelo.
The hosts opened the scoring after just five minutes when Oussama Tannane stepped up to take a free kick and promptly curled a devastating shot into the top corner.
John Stegeman's charges were dominant and duly doubled their lead in the 53rd minute, Brahim Darri forcing a save from Hannes Halldorsson before Thomas Bruns poked home the rebound.
It was game over in the 74th minute when Tannane played in Wout Weghorst, who bore down on goal to slot in his side's third and leave NEC down and out.
The result sees Heracles climb to eighth in the Eredivisie table with three points from two games, while NEC, also with a win and a defeat, sit two places behind.
