Hibernian manager Alan Stubbs has admitted that his side were lucky to be given a penalty during their Scottish Championship victory over Falkirk.
Blair Alston tripped John McGinn and Jason Cummings tucked away the penalty to give the Edinburgh side a 1-0 victory.
"I was surprised but if you look at the incident before it maybe that has had a bearing on why he has given it. We dealt with everything that Falkirk threw at us - long balls and crosses. Last season we were labelled with not being able to deal with that, I think we have answered that," Stubbs told BBC Sport.
"This is a really good three points for us tonight. We showed another side to us, where we had to show a bit of mettle."
The win sees the Hibees move up to second in the Scottish Championship table.
