Hibernian manager Alan Stubbs has revealed that there are no new developments regarding their loan chase of Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths.
The Edinburgh outfit tried to sign the 24-year-old, who spent two loan spells at Hibs while at Wolverhampton Wanderers, before the close of the transfer window.
Some reports have suggested that the Scottish Championship strugglers will move again for Griffiths when the loan market resumes, but Stubbs has insisted that they have not made any progress in their pursuit.
Stubbs told Sky Sports News: "I think everyone knows that we enquired before the deadline but as far as anything else goes that was it.
"He's a good player but that's it – I can't say anything more on the matter. It's one of them and it hasn't come from us.
"I can't rule anything in because there is nothing happening. If anything changes I would report on that but, where we are at this moment in time, there is nothing to report."
Griffiths has started just one of Celtic's six Scottish Premiership games so far this season.
