Honduras coach Luis Suarez has claimed that his players were too nervous during their defeat to Ecuador at the World Cup.
The Central Americans were all but eliminated from the tournament on Friday night as they were beaten 2-1 in Curitiba.
Despite the disappointing result, Suarez insists that he is pleased with the overall performance of his team.
"It was a very hard-fought match," he told FIFA.com. "I think we had a bit of difficulty keeping our nerves in check given what was at stake in the game, but I'm satisfied with my team.
"We played well but they played a bit better: they had more of the ball, took more shots and got the goals."
Honduras finish their Group E campaign on Wednesday when they face Switzerland in Manaus.
