The Major League Soccer game between Houston Dynamo and DC United has been temporarily halted because of lightning.
The home side, eager to land themselves a playoff position, were goalless against their opponents as of the 22nd minute of the game at the BBVA Compass Stadium.
The referee subsequently decided to interrupt the game due to the worsening weather.
Play is expected to resume at 9:40pm BST (4:40pm EST).
