Huddersfield Town and Leicester City face a replay after today's 1-1 draw in the FA Cup fourth round.

Huddersfield Town and Leicester City played out a 1-1 draw in the FA Cup fourth-round tie this afternoon.

Huddersfield started the game well and dominated Leicester in the opening 15 minutes.

The home side had the first real effort on goal through James Vaughan, but the striker fired his effort wide of the post.

A poor clearance from Jack Hunt on 23 minutes allowed Martyn Waghorn in on goal, but the volleyed finish was off target.

Hunt then burst forward on 29 minutes to race onto the ball, but the full-back hit his effort wide.

Lee Novak had a chance to open the scoring on 54 minutes, but the defence cleared before he could get to Hunt's cross.

Vaughan attempted an audacious bicycle kick on 57 minutes, but his athleticism was not rewarded with a goal as the goalkeeper got down to save.

Sean Scannell's excellent turn of pace allowed him to find Hunt, who crossed to Novak. The forward, who was unmarked from two yards out, could only head straight at the goalkeeper.

The home side had the chance to take the lead on 73 minutes when the referee gave a penalty after Hunt was tripped in the area. Novak stepped up and sent Kasper Schmeichel the wrong way to make it 1-0.

Leicester came straight back into the game and grabbed an equaliser with ten minutes left through Chris Wood.

Wood had the ball in the back of the net in injury time, but his goal was ruled out for offside.
