Huddersfield Town manager Chris Powell has suggested his side performed well against Cardiff City this afternoon, but needed to score when they were in control of the game.
Hosts Cardiff took all three points thanks to second-half goals from Anthony Pilkington and Joe Mason, and Powell believes his side were unfortunate not to take the lead before conceding.
Speaking to club reporters after the game, Powell said: "I thought our first half performance was good, but we needed to make it count.
"At one end I thought Harry Bunn should have had a penalty, then Cardiff went up the other end and scored.
"We defended well, but we need to score and keep the ball at the other end to relieve the pressure."
Huddersfield will take on Charlton Athletic on Tuesday evening.
