Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town have played out a goalless first half in their Championship fixture this afternoon.
The hosts dominated the game's early chances, as Kenwyne Jones forced a save from Huddersfield debutant Jed Steer, before Joe Mason and Joe Ralls saw two efforts go narrowly wide in quick succession.
Huddersfield's first chance of the game came on 28 minutes, as Sean Scannell found Nakhi Wells in the area, but his effort was blocked.
Elliot Ward came close to opening the scoring for the visitors soon after, as the on-loan defender rose to meet a Jamie Paterson free kick, but his header was comfortably dealt with by Cardiff goalkeeper David Marshall.
Anthony Pilkington found the net for Cardiff before the break after picking up a through-ball, but the linesman had flagged for offside.
