Sports Mole previews Friday's Championship clash between Huddersfield Town and Blackpool.

Blackpool will attempt to move into second position in the Championship when they make the trip to Huddersfield Town on Friday evening.

The home side have made an encouraging start to the season with 12 points from eight matches leaving them in ninth position in the table, and have lost just one of their last six in the league.

Blackpool, meanwhile, have also made a bright start to the 2013-14 campaign with 17 points leaving them in fourth position. They have just stuttered in the last couple of weeks, however, with a 3-1 defeat to Millwall followed by a 2-2 draw with Leicester City last time out.

The corresponding match last season ended in a 1-1 draw in December 2012, but Huddersfield were 3-1 winners when they made the trip to Bloomfield Road in September. That said, Huddersfield struggled on their own patch last season, winning just seven of their 23 matches in the league.

Huddersfield could revert to the same side that drew with Blackburn Rovers in the Championship last week with James Vaughan and Jon Stead continuing their partnership in attack.

However, Martin Paterson is pushing for inclusion after appearing from the bench at Ewood Park, while Oliver Norwood could also return to their midfield.

Blackpool boss Paul Ince will have Steven Davies and Craig Cathcart both available once more, while Stephen Dobbie is pushing for a start at the expense of Barry Ferguson. Nathan Tyson and Michael Chopra, however, are both expected to start on the bench.
