Huddersfield Town coasted to a 2-0 win over Burnley in the Championship this afternoon with goals either side of half-time.
Joel Lynch opened the scoring for the hosts on seven minutes when he headed home Oliver Norwood's inviting cross deep inside the penalty area.
Simon Grayson's side had numerous opportunities to double their lead in the first half, with chances falling to Adam Clayton and Jordan Rhodes in quick succession.
Clayton and Rhodes continued to threaten in the second period, and it was the latter who eventually made it 2-0, finding the top corner from inside the box on 58 minutes.
Huddersfield's win puts them into 11th in the Championship table with four points from three games played, while Burnley drop to 18th.
