Hull City manager Steve Bruce has said that he is pleased for the club's supporters after the team progressed to the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Sunday.
The Tigers saw off Sunderland in their quarter-final clash at the KC Stadium to advance to the last four of the competition for the first time since 1930.
"In football clubs, managers, players and coaches come and go, but the fans are always there and the people you are most happy for after this result are the supporters," the Sunderland Echo quotes Bruce as saying.
"Let's enjoy it. And for those people, for those fans, I am delighted. I hope that for their sake we can make a big Yorkshire derby at Wembley a fantastic occasion."
Bruce's side will face Sheffield United in the semi-finals.
