Hull City midfielder Mohamed Diame is determined to help his side beat relegation from the Premier League following his return from injury.
The 27-year-old missed four months of the season with a knee injury after making a bright start to his career with Steve Bruce's men.
Diame returned to action on the bench in his side's defeats to Swansea City and Southampton and is now desperate to make an impact in their battle against the drop.
He told the club's official website: "I'm happy to be back and now I need to keep going to get back to the fitness levels that I was at before the injury. Four months is a long time to be out injured, and it is not easy to be out for so long but I will be alright.
"It was a great moment for me – obviously it was disappointing to lose the game the way we did, but I have got a lot of confidence about this team and I know that we can do better than we are doing at the moment. I will be doing everything I can to help this team stay in the Premier League."
Diame has made 15 appearances in all competitions for Hull this season, scoring four goals.
