Hull City have revealed that Nikica Jelavic will resume full training next week following a month-long absence with a knee injury.
The Croatian striker has not played for the Tigers since last month's 2-2 draw with Arsenal.
Steve Bruce's side have not scored in any of the three Premier League games since that draw at the Emirates Stadium, but head of medical services Rob Price says that the 29-year-old is nearing his return.
"Nikica is three-and-a-half weeks post-medial meniscectomy and he has stepped up his rehab this week," Price told the club's official website.
"We are aiming for him to return to training next week. At this stage, his knee has reacted extremely well to rehab."
Jelavic had struck four goals in eight league outings for Hull this season prior to his setback.
