Hull City midfielder Tom Huddlestone has admitted that his side were unfortunate not to get something out of their clash with Everton.

The Tigers went down to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of the Toffees at Goodison Park, as Steven Pienaar scored a second-half winner just seconds after coming onto the pitch as a substitute.

Huddlestone wrote on Twitter: "Tough game, Everton played well! Our lads worked very hard on another day we could have got something out of the game. Fans gr8 as always."

Hull are ninth in the Premier League following their loss.
