Hull City defender Paul McShane has revealed his anger at Steve Bruce's decision to leave him out of the squad on the weekend.
Bruce made six changes to the team which lost to Burnley before the international break, but his new-look side were unable to avoid a 2-1 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur at the KC Stadium.
McShane was one of the players to lose his place, and he refused to hide his disappointment when questioned about his manager's decision.
"It's disappointing and it's not the first time it's happened, so it does make me angry," the 28-year-old told reporters.
"I've been left out and I know the manager mentioned things after the game, saying the players were big-time.
"Am I big-time? I'm not sure. I don't think I am or that the other players who were left out are."
Hull have not won any of their last five Premier League games.
