Hull City and West Ham United played out a 2-2 draw in their Premier League match at the KC Stadium this evening.

The hosts took the lead at the end of the first half when Abel Hernandez headed in, before Enner Valencia levelled with a strike soon after the break.

A goal from Mohamed Diame put Hull back in front, but West Ham equalised for the second time when Curtis Davies turned the ball into his own net.

HULL CITY

Goal

Allan McGregor: Made an outstanding save in the first half to deny Sakho from point-blank range. He kept out a Valencia header in the second half in what was a solid performance, despite conceding twice. (7/10)

Defence

Ahmed Elmohamady: Wonderful cross to set up Hernandez for the first goal. Got down the right flank well all evening and further underlined his importance to this Hull side. (7/10)

Curtis Davies: Scored the decisive own goal that ensured the match finished in a draw. It was an unfortunate moment in an otherwise assured display from the defender. (6/10)

Michael Dawson: Solid showing from the former Tottenham Hotspur captain. He blocked Valencia's goal-bound effort in stoppage time to secure a point for his team and was strong in the challenge throughout. (7/10)

Andrew Robertson: Dependable display from the left back. He delivered some teasing crosses into the box early on and defended well throughout. (6/10)

Midfield

Jake Livermore: Decent performance from the England man, but struggled to stamp his authority on the match. Picked up a booking in the second half for a poor late challenge. (6/10)

Tom Huddlestone: Was unable to make his usual impact on the game. Picked up a booking for bringing down Kouyate after the break. (6/10)

Mohamed Diame: Fine debut for the former West Ham player, who dominated the midfield. He took his goal exceptionally well and his driving runs caused the opposition problems all evening. (8/10)

Stephen Quinn: Decent showing from the Irishman. Did not cause West Ham too many problems going forward, but was solid down the flanks. (6/10)

Attack

Abel Hernandez: Impressive display from the Uruguay international, who marked his Hull debut with a well-taken header. He hit the bar soon after and twice tested Adrian from range, in a performance that will have excited supporters of the club. (8/10)

Nikica Jelavic: Busy performance from the forward. Was overshadowed by strike partner Hernandez, but never stopped running and put the visiting defence under pressure all evening. (7/10)

Substitutes

Gaston Ramirez: Came on with 12 minutes left to play, but struggled to get into the match. (6/10)

Hatem Ben Arfa: Was brought on with Ramirez for the closing stages and did not have much time to make an impression on the match. (6/10)

Robbie Brady: Replaced Quinn just before the hour mark and came close with a strike that the keeper had to be alert to beat away. (6/10)

WEST HAM

Goal

Adrian: Could not have done too much about the goals he conceded this evening, but made decent stops from Hernandez and Brady in the second half. (6/10)

Defence

Winston Reid: Was given a tough night by Hernandez, but defended well for the most part. Picked up a booking in stoppage time. (6/10)

Aaron Cresswell: Allowed Elmohamady space to cross and set up the first goal for Hernandez. Was also partly at fault for the second, with his poor throw in leading to Diame's strike. (5/10)

James Tomkins: Beaten in the air by Hernandez for the first goal. He also struggled to deal with Diame, as the midfielder ran through to score. (5/10)

Guy Demel: Decent showing from the Ivory Coast international. Supported his team well going forward, but found Hull's front two tough to deal with. (6/10)

Midfield

Mark Noble: Strong display as ever from the West Ham captain. Used the ball well and did not lose possession as his team improved after the break. (6/10)

Stewart Downing: Played a huge past in West Ham's second goal with his ball into the path of Sakho. Delivered some fine crosses and was one of his team's biggest threats this evening. (7/10)

Cheikhou Kouyate: Showed his skill and strength with some powerful runs down the right. Wasn't able to influence the game as much as he would have liked, but was strong in the tackle throughout. (6/10)

Attack

Enner Valencia: Was his side's best player of the evening. Scored a stunning goal to level the scores just after the break and almost won the match deep into stoppage time. He was a danger throughout and caused the Hull defence no end of problems. (8/10)

Mauro Zarate: Played well in the first half, but faded after the break. Was replaced by Song after an hour. (6/10)

Diafra Sakho: He played a big part in West Ham's second goal and was a livewire throughout. Was unlucky to see an effort in the first half saved by the keeper and made some great runs in behind the Hull defence. (7/10)

Substitutes

Alex Song: Was introduced on the hour mark and showed some neat touches to help the Hammers take control of the possession. (6/10)

Carl Jenkinson: Entered the pitch late on and helped to make sure that his side came away with a point. (6/10)

Morgan Amalfitano: Was only on the pitch for the final three minutes and had little time to make an impact. (6/10)
