Hull City defender Curtis Davies has claimed that the club's current unbeaten run is vital to their chances of survival in the Premier League.
The Tigers are in eighth place in the table after taking seven points from their last three games.
"An unbeaten run like that is important for a team like ours," he told the club's official website. "If you can pick up a point per game, that is usually enough to keep you up.
"We're ahead of that at the moment and hopefully we can continue with that, although we've got two tough away games coming up straight after the international break."
Hull are back in league action on October 19 when they travel to Goodison Park to face Everton.
