Pepe Mel has said that West Bromwich Albion should have been awarded a penalty in the second half of their match against Hull City in the Premier League this afternoon.
Goals from Liam Rosenior, following a saved penalty for the hosts, and former Baggies striker Shane Long gave Hull a 2-0 win.
The West Brom manager told BBC Sport: "It's possible it was a penalty for Hull but in the second half it was a penalty too for James Morrison.
"I think Shane Long is a player with experience but it was a bad decision from the referee.
"When I arrived at West Brom, Shane Long was going to Hull and that's football. Now our only focus is to win the next match against Cardiff."
The result leaves the Baggies 16th in the table, three points clear of the relegation zone.
