Hull City have won their opening pre-season game, beating North Ferriby United 3-1 in the Billy Bly memorial trophy match.
A sell-out crowd watched the local derby as the Tigers' players were put through their first 90 minutes of the summer.
The visitors started well and were ahead inside 15 minutes when Liam Rosenior got forward and bundled the ball home following a quick counter-attack.
They doubled their lead just before half time when Nick Proschwitz popped up to finish from close-range.
North Ferriby pulled one back midway through the second half, thanks to a Nathan Jarman header, but Stephen Quinn made sure of the win in the last minute with a well-timed volley into the far corner.
