Brighton & Hove Albion are facing competition from Premier League outfit Hull City for the signature of Irish youngster Brian Lenihan, reports suggest.
The Cork City right-back, who has previously been linked with a host of top Premier League clubs, looked likely to join the Seagulls after the two clubs reportedly agreed a fee in the region of £150,000.
That move now appears to have hit a stumbling block, however, after Cork revealed that they had accepted a second bid for the player.
The Argus reports that Hull City are the team that have lodged a late bid, making them favourites to land the player.
Hull face Stoke City in the Premier League tomorrow afternoon.
