Hull City are reportedly lining up a move for Swansea City winger Jefferson Montero in January.
Montero has made just two Premier League starts for the Swans so far this season having struggled for form and fitness over the first half of the campaign.
His lack of game time is thought to have alerted relegation rivals Hull, who are in the market for a winger after learning that Robert Snodgrass plans to turn down a new contract at the club.
Snodgrass's current deal with the Tigers expires at the end of this season and the likes of West Bromwich Albion and Celtic have been linked with a move for the Scotland international.
That has prompted Hull to turn their attention to Montero, although Swansea may be unwilling to sell the Ecuadorian to a team who they currently sit level on points with at the bottom of the Premier League table.
