Hull City are reportedly prepared to offer Richard Dunne an immediate return to the Premier League this summer.
Dunne missed the whole of last season through injury, with Aston Villa deciding to end his four-year spell with the club as a result.
The 33-year-old made his comeback in a pair of games with the Republic of Ireland last month and is now searching for a club ahead of the new season.
Tigers boss Steve Bruce has some concerns over Dunne's fitness but would like to add the central defender's experience to his newly-promoted squad on a free transfer, according to the Daily Mail.
Derby County have also admitted an interest in securing Dunne's signature, but the defender is reportedly desperate to remain a Premier League player.
