Inter Milan interim head coach Stefano Vecchi has claimed that the team are under "pressure" heading into Thursday night's Europa League match against Southampton.
The Serie A side will play their first game since Frank de Boer was sacked as head coach when they are welcomed to St Mary's tomorrow.
Vecchi, who works with Inter's youth team, has assumed the first-team role on a temporary basis, but is unsure whether he is a contender for the permanent job.
"I've worked with some of these players before, but clearly to prepare for a Europa League game puts the pressure on," Vecchi told reporters in a press conference.
"I do not know what will happen. I am the coach of Inter and thank the sporting director Piero Ausilio for the opportunity. What happens next is not important.
"What is important is the game tomorrow night, without looking too far ahead. We often talk about the future but we have to live today and tomorrow you can decide what is next."
Inter sealed a 1-0 win over the Saints in the fixture at San Siro a fortnight ago.
