Inter Milan medical staff coordinator Piero Volpi has said that Mauro Icardi is in danger of missing the derby clash with AC Milan this weekend.
The 22-year-old limped off the pitch in the opening minutes of the Nearazzurri's Serie A victory over Atalanta with a thigh injury last month and has not played since.
He had initially targeted a return for the clash against city rivals Milan, but Volpi has admitted that the Argentine is not yet fully fit.
"We are expecting an electric week ahead of the derby but the situation of the players is very good," Volpi told Ansa.
"For now we have one player in doubt, Icardi, but he's recovering and we will see if we will manage to get him playing."
Icardi scored 27 goals in all competitions for Inter last season.
