Inter Milan midfielder Esteban Cambiasso believes that the Nerazzurri can get their season back on track after the winter break.
Walter Mazzarri's side have slipped to fifth in Serie A, seven points off third-placed Napoli, after going four games without a win.
"The first half of the season isn't over yet," the Argentine told Mediaset Premium.
"The leaders have distanced themselves from us, but there's still an entire half of the season to play. What matters is earning three points at a time.
"The derby is a different game from any other. It's always special for us and Milan, and we'll try to do everything we can to try and bring joy to our fans."
Inter face AC Milan in the first derby of the season on Sunday.
