Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini has admitted that Roma are the better side as he prepares his La Beneamata charges ahead of the teams' meeting at the Stadio Olimpico this weekend.
Roma currently hold a huge 11-point advantage over European football-chasing Inter, but coach Mancini has suggested that his side could still grab three points despite the superiority of the Rome club.
"I think Roma are a better team than us, they have more confidence thanks to a long-standing project with a great coach," said Mancini, according to Goal.com.
"This is a classic fixture in Italian football and we need to be ready from the start. The Giallorossi have a very good chance of winning the Scudetto as there's a long campaign ahead. They have strong foundations and have signed some great players.
"I lived in Rome, played for Lazio and experienced many derbies here. On Sunday I want to see good football. Roma have the advantage, but we must have the right mentality, play like a real team and be highly motivated."
Inter currently find themselves in ninth position in the Serie A table.
