Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini has revealed that he will need to sell some players in order to balance his squad for the coming Serie A season.
Mancini recently brought in highly-rated midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia as rumours continue to circulate regarding the future of Xherdan Shaqiri, and the former Manchester City boss has now conceded that the club could need to move players around before the start of the new campaign.
"Shaqiri didn't play because he is tired," said Mancini after the team's friendly victory over Stuttgart Kickers.
"Unfortunately, as we need to limit the squad to 25 players, for those we sign someone else has to leave.
"I understand it is very difficult to leave Inter, but we have to sacrifice a few of them."
Premier League outfit Stoke City have already registered a clear interest in claiming the signature of Inter's Shaqiri.
