Inter Milan striker Rodrigo Palacio has been ruled out for a month with a thigh injury.
The 31-year-old Argentine, who has scored 18 goals this season, suffered the problem in training on Thursday.
"Rodrigo Palacio has undergone medical examinations which have revealed a muscular problem to the back of his left thigh," read a statement on the club's official website.
Inter continue their Serie A campaign on Sunday when they host Atalanta at the San Siro.
