Wesley Sneijder has been left out of Inter Milan's squad to face Palermo at home in Serie A on Sunday.
The Dutch playmaker has been out of the team for weeks because of a contract dispute with the club, but was expected to be in the squad for the game in Milan.
Coach Andrea Stramaccioni himself said on Saturday that Sneijder is available for selection after training with his teammates, but the 28-year-old has once again been omitted from the team.
Forward Antonio Cassano is suspended for Sunday's game, while Dejan Stankovic, Joel Obi, Gaby Mudingayi and Cristian Chivu all are injured.
