Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni has described his side's home defeat to Siena in Serie A on Sunday as "ugly".
Second-half goals from Simone Vergassola and Francesco Valiani saw the Nerazzurri lose 2-0 at San Siro despite dominating proceedings for much of the game.
"It's an ugly defeat," he said. "Now we must not lose faith in the work we are doing, as in the first half we created so many chances and were simply unable to find the goal.
"A defeat like this must not affect our work. In the second half, a scorching counter-attack from Siena hit us hard.
"This is the moment to stick together. I have great faith in the lads and we mustn't back up even an inch."
Inter are back in Serie A action on Wednesday when they travel to Verona to take on Chievo.
