Inter Milan have risen above Napoli to the top of Serie A courtesy of a 5-0 win over Chievo at San Siro.
Ivan Perisic netted a hat trick for the Milan giants, while Mauro Icardi and Milan Skriniar were also on the scoresheet as Inter made it three straight league wins ahead of next weekend's trip to champions Juventus.
Perisic sent Inter ahead in the 23rd minute courtesy of a brilliant half-volley, before Icardi doubled the advantage in the 38th minute, with the Argentine darting into the Chievo box before finding the bottom left-hand corner.
It was game, set and match for the home side in the 57th minute when Perisic found a route past Stefano Sorrentino as Chievo were caught on the counter-attack once again.
Skriniar then got in on the act three minutes later when he headed a brilliant Antonio Candreva cross into the back of the net.
Inter were not finished, however, and made it 5-0 in the second minute of additional time at the end of the 90 when Perisic netted from close range to complete his hat-trick.
