Roberto Mancini is reportedly on the verge of leaving Inter Milan just two weeks before the start of the new Serie A season.
The 51-year-old joined Inter for the second time in November 2014, but has struggled to restore the club to their former glories and missed out on Champions League football last season.
Tensions behind the scenes have risen since the Suning Commerce Group took over in June, while Inter's pre-season form is understood to have exacerbated the situation.
The Nerazzurri have been comfortably beaten by the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur in the past two weeks, conceding 13 goals in those three matches.
Mancini is now expected to depart San Siro in the coming days, according to numerous reports in Italy.
Former Ajax boss Frank de Boer is the favourite to succeed the Italian, with Inter keen to appoint a replacement quickly ahead of their Serie A opener against Chievo on August 21.
