After shrugging off another Serie A defeat to progress in Europe, Fiorentina aim to get back on track domestically when they host rock-bottom Salernitana on Sunday afternoon.
While the Viola have lost four of their last five league matches to slip down the standings, their southern counterparts finally won their first top-flight fixture of the season last weekend.

As Salernitana have picked up just two points on their travels so far, surely inconsistent Fiorentina can capitalise on home advantage to secure a much-needed Serie A success. While the hosts may lack a consistent goalscorer, their visitors are far from reliable in defence and can be caught out at least once at Stadio Franchi.

Separated by two points in the Serie A standings, Udinese and Hellas Verona meet at Stadio Fruili on Sunday afternoon.
While Hellas are stuck inside the relegation zone following 12 games without a win, their hosts have recently inched up the table after making a change in the dugout.

With just three league wins between them all season, confidence will be fragile in both camps when Udinese host Hellas Verona, so a single goal could prove enough to seal victory. Taking seven points from the last nine available has helped Roma steady the ship in Serie A, but after another slip-up in Europe they will seek a return to winning ways against Sassuolo on Sunday.
The hosts welcome Jose Mourinho's men to the Mapei Stadium following victory in an incredible seven-goal thriller last week, helping them edge further clear of the relegation zone.

Amid a tough run of fixtures for both clubs, Napoli and Inter Milan convene at Stadio Maradona on Sunday evening, when they will kick off separated by eight points in the Serie A standings.
Inter kept a grip on top spot by drawing with Juventus in last week's Derby d'Italia, before fighting back to hold Benfica in the Champions League; their hosts won the first match of Walter Mazzarri's second spell in charge, but then lost to Real Madrid.

Napoli and Inter have taken more shots, had more touches in the opposition area, and scored more goals (26 vs 30) than any other clubs in Serie A this season. Surely, then, a lifeless stalemate will not play out in front of the Neapolitan faithful: expect entertainment.
