Wesley Sneijder's agent has claimed that his client has no interest in agreeing to Inter Milan's latest contract offer.
The Dutch international has been at loggerheads with the Italian club over the past few days regarding a new deal. It has been claimed that Inter want the 28-year-old to take a paycut.
Inter administrator Rinaldo Ghelfi and technical director Marco Branca met with Sneijder and his representative earlier today. Upon leaving those discussions, Branca told reporters that things had gone well.
"We're pleased because the meeting went well with Sneijder, especially for Inter. We will have to review with Wesley anyway. His statement? I don't know," he said.
However, agent Soren Lerby has counteracted Branca's words by insisting that "in these circumstances [Sneijder] will not sign".
Further talks are expected to take place later this week.
