Inter Milan striker Diego Forlan has described recent talk linking him with a move away from the club as "speculation".
The Uruguayan forward has been rumoured to be on his way out of the San Siro following an injury-ravaged first season in Italy.
Despite interest from Brazilian club Internacional, Forlan has played down any potential switch.
"I've a contract with Inter and in the next few days I'll be heading back to Italy," the 33-year-old told reporters in Brazil. "The rumours linking me with a move to Brazil are simply speculation."
Forlan joined Inter from Atletico Madrid last summer.
