Inter Milan have reached an agreement with Udinese to sign goalkeeper Samir Handanovic.
The 27-year-old will now travel to the San Siro for a medical and discussions regarding personal terms before completing a reported £8m switch.
"The signature is the only thing left for the transfer to happen," the son of Udinese own Gino Pozzo told reporters. "An agreement has been reached between our club and Inter.
"But I cannot yet say that it is official."
The Slovenian international is thought to be replacing Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar, whom Inter are said to be keen to sell.
