Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has insisted that Wesley Sneijder will not be trading places with Paris Saint-Germain playmaker Javier Pastore in January.
Sneijder's future has been the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks, with the Dutchman out of favour and involved in a contract dispute at the San Siro.
Moratti believes that rumours of Sneijder's discontent have been greatly exaggerated by the Italian media.
He told Sky Italia: "An exchange between Pastore and Sneijder? No, we'll keep Wesley, as he is the best out there.
"There has already been too much talk about Sneijder. The problem is in the media more than anything else and I have an excellent rapport with him.
"When he returns to the disposal of Andrea Stramaccioni, he will be an added bonus for the squad."
Inter are currently third in the Serie A standings, four points behind leaders and reigning champions Juventus.
