Inverness Caledonian Thistle manager Terry Butcher has turned down the chance to take over at Barnsley.
Butcher recently held talks with the Championship club as they search for a new boss following the sacking of Keith Hill last month.
"I was pleased that Caley Thistle gave me the opportunity to talk to Barnsley, who were excellent to deal with," Butcher told Inverness's official website.
"But I have decided that my future lies at Inverness. We have been going extremely well to be second in the SPL, still in the Scottish Cup and with a League Cup semi-final to look forward to later this month."
Butcher's refusal comes after former Doncaster Rovers and Nottingham Forest manager Sean O'Driscoll decided against taking charge at Oakwell on Sunday.
