Inverness Caledonian Thistle defender Josh Meekings could miss the Scottish Cup final after being charged for his handball against Celtic.
Meekings denied Celtic a certain goal during his side's semi-final win on Sunday when he blocked Leigh Griffiths's shot with his hand. However, the 22-year-old stayed on the pitch because none of the officials spotted the incident.
He has now been hit with a notice of complaint by the Scottish Football Association, which he has until Wednesday to respond to. Meekings will also face a tribunal on Thursday.
If he accepts the charge, the youngster will be given a one-game suspension that would only apply to next month's Scottish Cup final against Falkirk at Hampden Park.
Celtic confirmed on Monday that they had written to the SFA to seek clarification as to why Meekings was not punished at the time.
