Scotland have called four uncapped players into their squad ahead of Wednesday's friendly in Luxembourg.
Hibernian striker Leigh Griffiths, Inverness Caledonian Thistle forward Andrew Shinnie, Kilmarnock midfielder Liam Kelly and St Mirren goalkeeper Craig Samson were drafted in on Sunday.
Huddersfield Town full-back Paul Dixon was also selected, after nine of the original pool pulled out over the weekend.
The absentees include Steven Fletcher, Phil Bardsley, Charlie Adam, Barry Bannan, James Morrison, Matt Phillips and Shaun Maloney.
"Obviously at this stage of the season, with players playing weekend and midweek, niggles and strains and withdrawals are to be expected," said Interim coach Billy Stark.
"This match gives us an opportunity to look at players who maybe have not had experience of the international set-up but who have been in tremendous form at their clubs."
Luxembourg have lost five of their last six matches, however they held Northern Ireland to 1-1 draw in September.
