Peterborough United have come out on top in the opening half against fellow strugglers Ipswich Town at Portman Road this afternoon.
The visitors took the lead in the eighth minute when a drop of Lee Tomlin's shoulder fooled both Danny Higginbotham and Aaron Cresswell, with the Posh frontman applying the finish in plenty of space.
Peterborough continued to look far more threatening as Ipswich struggled to string together a run of passes. Bobby Olejnik in the Posh goal wasn't troubled in the opening 45.
