Mick McCarthy has praised his Ipswich Town players after being denied a derby win late on against Norwich City on Sunday.
Luke Chambers headed the Blues in front on 90 minutes at Carrow Road, which appeared to have given the visitors their first East Anglian derby win since 2009.
However, Timm Klose levelled for the Canaries with virtually the last kick of the game, five minutes into injury time, for a final score of 1-1 and a share of the spoils.
"I was delighted with the team's performance," McCarthy told the official Ipswich site after the game.
"They were terrific, especially in the first half, and when we had to weather the storm, we got blocks in and defended well.
"I'm not sure where the five minutes came from but they have nicked an equaliser at the end. There is disappointment obviously. We switched off for their goal but overall my players were terrific."
The result sees Ipswich climb to 11th place in the Championship table.
