Ipswich Town have seen off competition from their Championship rivals to sign Gwion Edwards from League One side Peterborough United.
The 25-year-old had also been linked with a move to Blackburn Rovers, Bristol City and Nottingham Forest earlier in the transfer window.
According to the Ipswich Star, the Tractor Boys have spent around £700,000 to sign Edwards, 20% of which will go to former club Crawley Town.
Former Wales Under-21s international Edwards had entered the final 12 months of his Peterborough contract and was keen to join a second-tier side prior to next season.
Ipswich have also brought in Trevoh Chalobah and Jordan Roberts since Paul Hurst was named as Mick McCarthy's successor at the end of May.
