Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the World Cup qualifying clash in Group F between Israel and Northern Ireland.
There is little to play for but pride for both teams as neither is able to catch Russia and Portugal at the top of the group to reach the finals in Brazil next year.
Eli Guttman's side will be looking to build on their good point with Portugal on Friday as Ben Basat's late goal earned them a 1-1 draw against Paulo Bento's side.
Meanwhile, Northern Ireland fell to their third defeat in a row when they lost 2-0 to Azerbaijan and had Manchester United defender Jonny Evans sent off, meaning he will miss today's clash.
Michael O'Neill is under some pressure to deliver a result tonight following their embarrassing losses to Berti Vogts's men and Luxembourg last month, which overshadowed their good performance against Portugal before they suffered late in the game to the exploits of Cristiano Ronaldo.
The teams have just been announced and we'll start with the home side.
ISRAEL STARTING XI: Aouate, Meshumar, Ben Haim, Melicsohn, Natcho, Zehavi, Basat, Refaelov, Yeini, Davidzada, Tibi
NORTHERN IRELAND STARTING XI: Carroll, Hodson, Lafferty, Baird, McGinn, Davis, Paterson, Evans, McArdle, Clingan, Cathcart
O'Neill has made six changes to his side this evening. Jonny Evans is suspended and misses out, while Jamie Ward, Shane Ferguson, Chris Brunt, Gareth McAuley and Olly Norwood are also absent. They're replaced with Corry Evans, Rory McArdle, Sammy Clingan, Niall McGinn, Daniel Lafferty and Chris Baird.
Guttman has made three changes to his team that drew with the Portuguese on Friday. Out go Ben Harush, Barda and Maharan Radi Refaelov, Melisohn and Davidzada.
O'Neill believes that his side will be lacking in experience at the back with Jonny Evans and Gareth McAuley suspended. He told BBC Sport: "We are down in experience and numbers. Craig Cathcart has played very well in all the games he has been asked to play in."
That loss of experience could be vital as the Irish defence has looked suspect in their last few games even with those players at the back.
ISRAEL SUBS: Alberman, Barda, Shechter, Keinan, Ben Chaim, Dgani, Ezra, Harosh, Ben Harush, Radi, Biton, Kleiman
NORTHERN IRELAND SUBS: Ferguson, Brunt, Mannus, Grigg, McKay, Bruce, Ward, Little, McGovern
The players are making their way out onto the pitch and we should be underway shortly.
We're underway in Tel Aviv.
Israel are straight into a passing game and knock the ball around nicely looking for an opening but when they try to launch the ball forward to Refaelov the pass is overhit and Carroll gathers.
O'Neill's side are under pressure immediately from Israel's passing and are backed up in their own half and can't get a foot on the ball at the moment.
SHOT! Melicsohn has the first effort of the game from just outside the area but his shot his tame and it's easy for Carroll to gather.
McGinn gets down the left-hand side and whips in a dangerous cross into the area but Aouate rises high to claim to the ball under pressure from Paterson.
Baird lifts a ball over the top of the Israel defence and Paterson races onto it and looks to get to the ball before it goes out of play but he's clipped by Aouate but the referee points for a goal kick.
Ireland play the ball well down the right and Paterson gets in the middle expecting the cross from Hodson but his cross is poor as it is low and doesn't beat the first man allowing Ben-Haim to boot the ball clear.
O'Neill's side have settled well into this game and are giving as good are they are getting as the home team are yet to really click into gear going forward, as a cross from Refaelov goes straight into the hands of Carroll.
CHANCE! Ben-Haim raids forward from centre-back and drills a low cross into the area for the run of Zehavi, who gets a strike on the ball but it goes wide of the target. Better build-up from Guttman's side.
A delay in the game as Corry Evans goes down with an injury. He's getting treatment on the pitch and appears to be ok.
No it is serious as Evans hobbles off and will have to be replaced while Yeini goes into the book for the challenge.
SUBSTITUTION: Evans is replaced by Chris Brunt.
Israel get behind the Irish defence and Yeini drills a left-footed cross low into the box, which McArdle does well to deflect away from goal with Refaelov lurking behind him and Hodson clears the ball downfielf.
Brunt is straight into the action for the visitors as he links up with Paterson and gets the ball 30 yards from goal and drills a left-footed shot, which goes just wide of the target.
Yeini finds space down the left again and drills another cross into the area which McArdle gets a head to again to stop Ben Basat getting in behind him but the ball goes to Refaelov but luckily for the visitors he can't get it under control in the 18-yard box and it goes out for a goal kick.
Ireland string several passes together in a flowing move but it comes to a halt when Lafferty hits his pass to no-one expecting a run forward and Aouate gathers the ball. Waste from the visitors in a good position.
Melicsohn lifts a ball into the path of Refaelov, who plays a back-heeled pass into the path of Meshumar from right-back who raids forward into the box but Lafferty is there to make the tackle and just gets enough of the ball not to give away a penalty. That was an important challenge.
SHOT! Natcho tests the handling abilities of Carroll from distance and the keeper gets his body behind the ball to make a comfortable stop.
The visitors threaten as Davis finds room down the left he hits a first time cross into the middle looking for the run of Paterson but Tibi makes an excellent intervention to clear the ball away from the striker.
Israel's turn to put the Irish under pressure as Melicsohn plays Meshumar in behind the defence with a back-heeled pass, the defender blasts the ball at goal first time but Lafferty makes the block to divert it away from the net.
CHANCE! Meshumar lifts a ball over the top of the Ireland defence and Carroll comes to claim but McArdle heads the ball past him and can only knock his clearance into the path of Ben Basat who blasts a shot at goal but Cathcart makes a crucial goal saving block. Great defending from the Blackpool man.
GOAL! Israel 1-0 Northern Ireland (Ben Basat)
Israel take the lead and it's a well worked goal from them as Meshumar lifts another dangerous cross into the area from the right and Ben Basat gets between two defenders to head a powerful effort past Carroll.
There will be two minutes of added time.
HALF-TIME: Israel 1-0 Northern Ireland
Israel lead at the break in what has been a game of few chances in Tel Aviv. It was all one paced until about the 40th minute when the home side really upped the ante and Northern Ireland couldn't cope with the pressure as Ben Bast finally got the breakthrough.
There was some excellent defending from the O'Neill's side as they repelled the late threat but they couldn't stop the goal as it was a brilliant cross and finish that broke through their defences.
Israel weren't at their best in the first half and the Irish did enjoy a spell of possession where they threatened the home side's goal so there is some hope they can get back into this game.
The players are back out on the pitch and we should be back underway shortly.
SUBSTITUTION: Keinan replaces Ben-Haim for the home side at the break.
We're back underway in Tel Aviv.
O'Neill's side start the half enjoying a decent spell of possession but Baird brings that to an end with a stray pass right into the path of Kienan, who holds the ball before playing it back to Aouate.
The visitors win a corner and have the chance to put Israel under pressure but Clingan's delivery from the left is poor and the home side easily clear their lines.
The tempo has dropped from the first half as both teams are struggling to get into a rhythm going forward at the moment.
The visitors are moving into dangerous of the pitch but haven't produced the quality in the final third that is needed to break down the Israeli defence.
Again, the Irish move the ball downfield but as soon as they cross the ball into the box the danger is cleared immediately but the home side. This time Davis gets a second chance to knock a cross in but Paterson gives away a free kick for pulling down Keinan. Another waste for the visitors.
Zehavi links up with Meshumar down the right and drill a low cross over the middle which flashes right across the face of goal and needed only a touch to beat Carroll, but no players from the home side was there to turn it in.
CHANCE! Northern Ireland push forward and Davis combines well with Paterson collects the ball on the edge of the area and drills a shot at goal, which is deflected wide by Tibi.
Ireland get an opportunity to threaten from the corner but again Clingan's cross is claimed with ease by Aouate.
SUBSTITUTION: Ward replaces McGinn for the visitors.
GOAL! Israel 1-1 Northern Ireland (Davis)
O'Neill's side are back in the game with a thunderous strike from Davis, as he collects the ball from Ward on the edge of the box and fires an effort past Aouate into the top corner. There was no defender this time to block his shot and he took full advantage.
The home side are shell shocked by that goal from Davis, they've been lacklustre in the second half and haven't threatened the Ireland goal at all.
CHANCE! Brunt chips a delightful ball over the top of the Israel defence for Paterson, who latches onto to it and hits a first time volley but Aouate makes a brilliant save to keep his side level.
The visitors are upping the ante now as they break upfield and Davis finds Brunt, who in turn looks for the run of Paterson again Keinan but the defender gets back in the knick of time to divert the ball away from the striker.
The hosts win a free kick in a dangerous position as Cathcart brings down Ben Basat 25 yards from goal. The Blackpool man goes into the book for his challenge.
Cathcart gets up highest to clear the danger from Melicsohn's free kick and Hodson follows that up with a hoof downfield to get the ball out of Irish territory.
Meshumar raids down the right and finds Ben Basat, he gets into the box but decides to cut the ball back aiming for the run of Melicsohn but Davis gets back to make the interception and Lafferty clears the danger.
There will be four minutes of added time.
SHOT! Ben Basat tries an ambitious effort from the edge of the area but his effort is blocked by Hodson and the visitors clear the danger.
FULL-TIME: Israel 1-1 Northern Ireland
So the campaign ends for both sides with a point apiece in Tel Aviv as Northern Ireland finish second bottom of Group F with seven points and just one win.
It was a much better performance from Michael O'Neill's side this evening and they deserved to get something out of the game and Steven Davis's 72nd minute strike did just that as he cancelled out Ben Basat's opener for the home side.
Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Be sure to remain with us for our coverage of the rest of tonight's qualifiers including England's bid to reach Brazil which can be found here. But from me, it's goodbye.
