Italy coach Cesare Prandelli has said that he may make "three or four" changes from the team that beat Mexico 2-1 on Sunday when they play Japan in the Confederations Cup tonight.
The tactician was reluctant to disclose his lineup to reporters ahead of the game but admitted that there were likely to be some alterations to his the team for the clash against the Japanese.
"It's possible there will be two, three or even four modifications," Prandelli told reporters.
"It depends on this last training session and who is in the best shape, especially as we used up a lot of energy on Sunday.
"I cannot give you the line-up now because we still need the most important training session. After I am sure that everyone is fit, I will think about how to face a very dangerous team."
The game in Recife, Brazil kicks off at 11pm GMT.
