Italy medical staff have confirmed that they expect Mario Balotelli to be fit for tomorrow night's World Cup qualifier against Armenia.
Balotelli missed last Friday's 2-2 draw with Denmark through a combination of injury and illness.
Azzurri doctor Enrico Castellacci has declared that the AC Milan forward should be fine to feature against Armenia in Naples, but will closely monitored in training today for a final assessment.
He told reporters: "Balotelli has been better since yesterday, he is recovering quietly from all the problems.
"Today he will train with the group and we are confident for his condition.
"He will be available for tomorrow night against Armenia, but the CT will decide whether or not to play him."
Cesare Prandelli's men are bidding to finish their qualifying campaign unbeaten at the San Paolo on Tuesday, while Armenia need a win to keep any slim hopes of a playoff place alive.
