Patrice Evra has hailed the "ugly" nature of Juventus's Champions League quarter-final success over AS Monaco last night.
The Italian champions held their French counterparts to a 0-0 draw in the principality to advance into the semis, having won the first leg 1-0 in Turin last week.
It was a clash that saw Monaco register just one shot on target at Stade Louis II, and Evra was delighted with the "Italian style" evident in the gritty performance.
"It was an important game tonight. Some players were under tremendous pressure because it had been 12 years, and we were the favourites," he told beIN Sport.
"We qualified Italian style. It's ugly but it's solid and it's efficient."
Massimiliano Allegri's side will face Barcelona, Real Madrid or Bayern Munich in the next round.
